D20H Dante AV Ultra Encoder/Decoder
The Bolin D20H and D20S Dante AV Ultra encoder/decoder solutions are designed to deliver visually lossless, ultra-low-latency 4K60 video over standard 1Gbps networks. Whether for live production, corporate AV, broadcasting, or distributed AV systems, these flexible encoders/decoders provide Dante AV Ultra integration with high-quality video connectivity.
Designed for maximum flexibility, the D20H and D20S can be configured as either an encoder or a decoder with a simple firmware change-allowing users to adapt their setup as needed without additional hardware. When set as an encoder, the device converts HDMI inputs into a Dante AV Ultra stream, making it easy to distribute high-quality video over IP. When configured as a decoder, it receives a Dante AV Ultra stream and outputs up to 4K60 video with embedded audio, through HDMI 2.0 and 12G-SDI (12G-SDI only available on D20S) ensuring interoperability with baseband video systems.
With JPEG2000 compression, the D20H and D20S maintain visually lossless image quality with ultra low latency, making them ideal for real-time production environments. PTP (Precision Time Protocol) clocking ensures perfect synchronization between video and audio across all Dante-enabled devices, eliminating timing mismatches in multi-camera and distributed AV setups.
Both models integrate with Dante Controller and Dante Domain Manager (DDM) for easy routing, remote management, and secure AV-over-IP operation. Additional features like IR pass-through, KVM functionality, and EDID management ensure smooth compatibility with professional video systems.
